How does it work?
Trading in your device is easy. You can choose to trade in at a Machines outlet or online when making a purchase.

- Outlet Trade in: Receive instant credit to offset your purchase, opt for a Machines Gift Voucher (valid for 1 year), or have the trade in value credited to your bank account within 3 working days.
- Online Trade in: Follow the simple steps above to get your estimated trade in value. Your trade in value will be instantly deducted at checkout page when you complete your purchase. Our trade in partner will then arrange delivery and collect your current device. The final trade in value will be confirmed after completing the device inspection.
Online trade in is currently available for selected Klang Valley postcodes only.
What devices are eligible for trade in?
Selected smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, MacBooks, and AirPods are eligible, depending on the device model, brand, and physical condition.

- Online trade in is available for selected smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and MacBooks only.
- For smartphones and tablets, an internet or Wi-Fi connection is required to complete the online diagnostic process.
- Complete the trade in process on the Machines website by answering a few simple questions to receive an estimated trade in value.
- The estimated trade in value will be automatically applied to eligible products in your cart.
- You may proceed to checkout with the trade in value instantly deducted from your purchase.
- Once your order is placed, our trade in partner will contact you within 48 hours to arrange the handover of your trade in device and delivery of your new device.
- The final trade in value will be confirmed after the device is re-evaluated upon collection.
- If there is a difference in the final trade in value, you may choose to proceed by paying the balance amount to our trade in partner or cancel the trade in.
- Any unused trade in value will be forfeited if it is not fully utilised during the purchase.
Cancellation & Value Adjustment
You may cancel your trade in at any time before confirming during the inspection process.
Once the trade in is confirmed, cancellation or return of the device (including any data within the device) will not be accepted.
If the assessed value differs from the original quoted amount, you may choose to decline the revised offer and cancel the trade in during the inspection process. If declined, your device will be returned by our trade in partner. Once the inspection is completed and the value is confirmed, the trade in can no longer be cancelled.
